Ceramic & Glass Foodware FDA Testing

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) provides guidance on laboratory testing of ceramic and glass foodware that may contain toxic heavy metals. FDA implements regulations that address safe use of foodware and warning labels based on laboratory analysis of products that may contain unhealthy level of metal contamination.

NVL Labs follows FDA approved analytical methods for non-destructive leachability test of foodware to determine whether regulated toxic metals are found in ceramic and glass ware.
