Paint Chips

  1. Choose an area where the paint is peeling and children do not have access.
  2. Place a piece of paper underneath the sample area. Use a sharp tool to remove a quantity of approximately 1-2 table spoons of paint chips, making sure to include every layer. Using the paper, place the scrapings into a Ziploc bag and seal.

Soil

  1. Scoop approximately 1-2 tablespoon of soil from the suspect areas and enclose it in Ziploc bag.
  2. Enclose the sample/s in Ziploc bag individually.

Dust

  1. Take a baby wipe and sweep up the dust in a 1 square foot area.
  2. Enclose the sample/s in Ziploc bag individually.
