Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for executing the company’s marketing plans and strategies
  • Manages the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical implementation
  • Identifies specific market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research, supported by contacting prospective and existing clients
  • Executes approved marketing plans after first discussing them with the General Manager
  • Develops and implements a company-wide annual marketing plan
  • Contributes to the development of the advertising, promotional, direct marketing, online marketing and PR campaigns and activities
  • Assists in the development of product and consumer research and provides competitive analysis and other ad hoc special projects
  • Builds and maintains effective relationships with approved outside agencies
  • Works directly with agencies to identify creative product marketing strategies and to ensure appropriate and timely delivery of all communications and marketing materials
  • Coordinates all internet, direct marketing and PR to ensure objectives are met
  • Demonstrates ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees
  • Maintains company registrations with Government, military and non-profit organizations are current at all times
  • Represents the company in a professional manner at all networking events and trade shows
  • Performs all duties assigned by the manager

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor of Science or Arts degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Marketing industry
  • The ability to use excellent analytical skills to interpret a variety of data and identify marketing trends
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to make marketing presentations
  • The ability to effectively manage and document sales
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of business and market dynamics
  • Solid Computer knowledge of software applications including MS Word, Excel, Publisher, and Power Point
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain strong working relationships
  • Proven ability to successfully work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects and the ability to work across multiple teams

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • The functions of this position are performed primarily in an office environment
  • Operates a personal computer and other office related equipment
  • Regular activities include frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching, bending, lifting and climbing stairs
  • Requires close visual acuity for viewing a computer screen and reading, preparing and analyzing data
  • Ability to speak, hear, and communicate clearly while handling telephone calls and customer requests
  • Requires repetitive motions of the wrists, hands and fingers for typing at a standard keyboard
  • The ability to lift 30 pounds
