Responsibilities:
- Responsible for executing the company’s marketing plans and strategies
- Manages the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical implementation
- Identifies specific market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research, supported by contacting prospective and existing clients
- Executes approved marketing plans after first discussing them with the General Manager
- Develops and implements a company-wide annual marketing plan
- Contributes to the development of the advertising, promotional, direct marketing, online marketing and PR campaigns and activities
- Assists in the development of product and consumer research and provides competitive analysis and other ad hoc special projects
- Builds and maintains effective relationships with approved outside agencies
- Works directly with agencies to identify creative product marketing strategies and to ensure appropriate and timely delivery of all communications and marketing materials
- Coordinates all internet, direct marketing and PR to ensure objectives are met
- Demonstrates ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees
- Maintains company registrations with Government, military and non-profit organizations are current at all times
- Represents the company in a professional manner at all networking events and trade shows
- Performs all duties assigned by the manager
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a Bachelor of Science or Arts degree
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Marketing industry
- The ability to use excellent analytical skills to interpret a variety of data and identify marketing trends
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to make marketing presentations
- The ability to effectively manage and document sales
- Strong knowledge and understanding of business and market dynamics
- Solid Computer knowledge of software applications including MS Word, Excel, Publisher, and Power Point
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain strong working relationships
- Proven ability to successfully work in a fast-paced team environment
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects and the ability to work across multiple teams
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- The functions of this position are performed primarily in an office environment
- Operates a personal computer and other office related equipment
- Regular activities include frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching, bending, lifting and climbing stairs
- Requires close visual acuity for viewing a computer screen and reading, preparing and analyzing data
- Ability to speak, hear, and communicate clearly while handling telephone calls and customer requests
- Requires repetitive motions of the wrists, hands and fingers for typing at a standard keyboard
- The ability to lift 30 pounds
